Update: Now with a light theme option!

This product is a pre-made OneNote notebook with everything you need to run a V5 Chronicle. There are character sheets for Kindred, Supernaturals, and Kine, ready to be filled out with the details of your PCs and NPCs. And, most importantly, the References tab gives you easy access to almost any piece of V5 rules trivia you might need on the fly, including character creation and Disciplines.

I made this template for use in my home Chronicle before I knew that the Storytellers Vault was going to open up to V5, so it's been tested over the course of the last year (~20 sessions). I find it instrumental to running my Chronicle and keeping track of all the minutiae of characters and rules.

If using with OneNote 2016 (which is what I recommend; the new version of OneNote just is not up to snuff in my opinion), all you have to do is double click the V5 Notebook.onepkg file from the extracted zip.

If using with OneNote Online, follow these instructions. The .zip has a folder titled "V5 Notebook Online." Extract the contents of the .zip, and then go to the OneNote importer page at this link (https://www.onenote.com/notebooks/exportimport?toImport=true). Select the extracted "V5 Notebook" folder in the importer. That will upload the notebook into your OneNote Online and you should be able to use it there.

What if you're using OneNote for Windows 10? Clicking on the V5 Notebook.onepkg file isn't working for me.

If you follow the instructions for importing the notebook into OneNote Online, you should then be able to access it via OneNote 10 once it has synced to your computer. If you open OneNote 10 after importing, I believe you would access the V5 Notebook by clicking on the current notebook and then selecting "More Notebooks" from the dropdown. All notebooks connected to your account should be accessible there, including those you imported.

I think it's a really good thing that you made but the default font and black background make it kind of difficult to read and understand, at least for me. It is very thorough though, I particularly like the Character Sheet and the References.

Fair point! White backgrounds blind me, and I thought black would be appropriate for Vampire, but everyone's eyes are different. I'll upload a new version with white background and black text as an option. Shouldn't take too long. Thanks for the feedback!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
