Morningstar – Wordbringer is a Solo Story Adventure. The premise for the story, along with the endgame of the antagonists, are included along with a brief description of the setting and circumstances. The descriptions are provided for the purpose of immersion only.

The prophecy of the Wordbringer is one of the oldest told throughout the Galaxy. It’s themes have been appropriated by the ancient cultures of many Species, such is the appeal of it’s message, and such is the influence of the Greater Souls of the Unreach.
The massacre on Celta III is only the beginning. Whether people believe in the prophecy or not, all of it’s hallmarks are now coming to fruition.

The Story is your own to tell, and your Character is yours to play.

The Bhedi prophecy of the Wordbringer tells of a rift between realities. This rift will be the entry point for rejected souls of the Unreach to enter the Corporeal Realm, by cheating the Barathuum Bal’Bitas. The Uvusa Sect (followers of the Word) within Bhedi culture believe that Bal’Bitas created the Bhedi and the Vharcoli for the purpose of defeating the beings of the Unreach and closing the rift. The Wordbringer shall be the one who closes the rift by giving up their life, and their soul will be reborn as an ascended being.
Whether these events will come to pass as told, or not, there is certainly an increase in reported Unreach activity throughout the Galaxy. The Barathuum are more prevalent than ever before, though they deny that one of their number could ever be swayed by a denizen of the Unreach. Bal’Bitas has been dormant for millennia and this has only fuelled the Uvusa’s suspicions that the time of the Wordbringer is nearly upon the people of Known Space.
Following the recent massacre in the Celta colonies, in which over three thousand agricultural workers lost their lives, those who do not and do not believe in the prophecy of the Wordbringer are watching the skies.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
