Ehnval Tallspear

Monster of the Month — Volume 2, Issue 5 — May 2021

For the last two Rune Masters of this six-issue MOTM run, our attention turns to the Elder Races of Glorantha. This supplement presents Ehnval Tallspear, a stern Wood Lord of Aldrya. Found near his native woods north of Esrolia, his description includes advice and adventure seeds for the gamemaster for use as either friend or foe.

In addition to describing Ehnval, this issue includes:

• Treasures galore, from a collection of minor Elvish Trinkets to a description of the Living Copper cultivated in dryad groves and rarely seen by humankind.
• A cast of peculiar side characters—Andovar, a lovelorn Yelmalion elf, the irascible Ancient Runner, and the talking bear Borulgus.

This supplement is designed to be useful for RuneQuest players who only have the core rulebook. It is recommended that the gamemaster also have the Glorantha Bestiary. Familiarity of the Aldryami section of that work will enrich your experience with Ehnval Tallspear.
