Hi Cyril,
For the Repel Power the first sentence after trappings says:
"This power keeps one enemy away from the caster."
but then the beginning of the detail paragraph starts with
"When casting, choose a type of creature (humans, demons, insects"

Could you confirm whether this is supposed to affect only one opponent ( assuming per round ) or if it is to apply to all of one type and that the first sentence needs to have "type" added after enemy?

It should read: "This power keeps enemies away from the caster."
You do choose one type of creature at casting, and for the duration every creature of that type is affected.
You can't change the type of creature once cast (but you could change it every time you cast).

Hi Cyril,
These fantasy add-on packets look fantastic! Any chance you are planning a release of them all combined in one larger book? Would buy in a heartbeat (imagine many others would as well) if they were referenced in one larger location in addition to being spread out by type.

Hi Dave,
Thank you very much.

Releasing them in a single document would be great. However it has many drawbacks. One of them being the final price for the customers (and the cost to publish it).

Also, it would be impossible to expand and very hard to update. So, as long as I'm not "done" with those "expansions", I prefer to keep them as small bits.

For now... :D

Great product! I read your explanation to Nathan but am still a little confused on the amplifiers (which I really love!). If you just buy the Metamagic Edge for instance does that grant access to all the Power amplifiers to use a Power modifiers up to 2pts or do you also have to buy the Amplifiers as individual Edges themselves. I think it's the former but your wording of "turn the Amplifier into simple Power Modifiers" makes it sound like you might need to already have bought the amplifiers as separate edges.

Any chance you will do up a supplement of some basic permanent magics items (not devices or PP invested items)? Love your work and would be very interested to see your take on that.

Hi Gerrit.

Amplifiers do exist. It's a list of things. Only catch: nobody can use them until they buy an Edge which let them use some of them in some circumstances.

**Ceremonist** lets you use any Amplifier but only when you perform those kind of ritual/ceremony stuffs. Based on the difficulty you take you are limited to 4 6 or 8 PP worth of Amplifiers.

**Metamagic** lets you use ONE amplifier when you pick it (e.g. Mastery or Penetration). From now on, each time you activate a power, you can use that Amplifier, just like you would use a Power Modifier. For Amplifiers that can be applied multiple times (Breadth, Violence, Continuity), you are limited to 2 PP (usually you can use it once). You can take the Metamagic Edge multiple times, each time to learn another Amplifier.

And last, **Power Mastery** lets you use ANY Amplifier but only for a single power of your choice, e.g. you are now proficient with Illusion and can use Penetration,...See more

For low power magic items, I have no plan so far. Artificer Codex is already good at covering that angle and Fantasy Companion for SWADE should also cover that. So I will most probably wait before to tackle that topic.

My next product should be for Fighters (melee and range) and Leaders (leadership, support, strategy).

Thanks for the clarification. I'm looking forward to your next products!

Still hoping you end up finding time for the magic items. IIR Artificer Codex was more for making items than emulating adding in small permanent items to a campaign. I've pretty much given up on waiting around for SWADE Fantasy Companion. IMO they should buy your content and hire you and a couple of the other great content creators we've seen to write it.

Hello. Really great product! Is it possible to get the new powers put into a power card format like the ones that are already out there for the SWADE core rules and the powers from Legion of Liberty? Thanks!

Hi Ron, thank you very much for your feedback! Very appreciated :)

The power cards are on my todo list. However, there are many things to take into account, that will take me some time (including DTRPG expected format for cards, and art for each power card).

Hi Nathan,

Page 32, thrid paragraph:
"A mage gains use of Amplifiers by learning Amplified Magic Edges. The Ceremonist Edge allows a mage to spend extended time casting a power to activate Amplifiers. Other Edges, like Power Mastery, allow the use of specific Amplifiers as if they were simple Power Modifiers."

You only get access to Amplified Magic by getting Edges.

The first one is the Ceremonist Edge. It gives you access to the Ceremonies, Dramatic Tasks. You spend 10mn x 3 to 5 "rounds", to activate the power with between 4 and 8 Power Points of Amplifiers attached. The cost of the Amplifiers is added to the cost of the Power (similar to what you do with Power Modifiers in fact). So, basically, you send more time casting your power, you risk more failure (since you are rolling your arcane skill each 10 minutes task round), but you can reach up to 8 power points on any power.

The second one are Power Mastery and Metamagic. Those turn...See more

The amplified magic section beginning on page 31 needs a clearly stated outline for how it is used. I don't know if it is set up to require an edge and the values present are just cost increases or how it is supposed to work. The ceremonies portion of the beginning of the section would seem you have to perform a dramatic task to get the options to work but it also states it is a form of activation not the only one. Please add an errata at least. I can hope for a new edit of the book with a more clearly detailed section for how it is supposed to work but at least an errata would give me the data to actually make it useable for me.

Rule System(s)
Original electronic
Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
