Torg Eternity Die Rolling App for Android

ADD TO WISHLIST >

While being a big fan of Torg Eternity, I still find the die rolling a bit ‘clunky’.

With that in mind, I created an ANDROID app to deal with the entire die rolling and report the results and effects. The PDF is provided as a user manual. The preview is the full PDF of the user manual so you can decide fiarly whether to buy the app and whether it is for you.

The app doesn’t require any system permissions and doesn’t save any files to your phone (other than the app itself). It is currently 3.62MB in size.

To install the app, first go to Settings, Security and check the Unknown sources box to allow your device to use apps that didn't come from Google Play. Then just download the apk file to your device, find it with File Explorer, and click to install.

The app only consists of a single screen (a feature not a bug) and does everything on that one screen. You can see the screen in full in the preview.

The app will roll the d20 for you, accounting for rerolls, and provide the toal rolled. The app will accomodate UP advantages and possibility spends as well as Favored and Untrained. If you fill in the skill and the DN, it will calculate the results based on the total roll.

It will also calculate the damage you do and, if you fill in the damage number and the Toughness value, what the Wounds and Shock will be.

Please read the full preview so you know what you are getting.  This is my first app rather than just a PDF so please, please read the preview.

And once again, please note that this is for Android only, not for iPhones or iOS.

Great app - just picked it up and will recommend to my players at our next game. Have you ever thought of tweaking it to add the +3DB option introduced in the Cassandra Files? (Also, I'd leave a review but DTRPG isn't letting me for some reason - either way, 5 stars!)

Thank you! Thank you so much! I think you are only the second purchaser. I get that. People are worried about viruses and malware and stuff but it is great to hear that someone has used it and appreciated it!
As for adding the +3BD option, I don't think I have the development files any longer, just because I thought no one would ever use them. ☹️
I cannot tell you how much I loved getting this comment this morning! I hope your players give the High Lords the kicking they deserve!

You're welcome - it's a great tool. Hopefully you'll get a couple more sales when my group reconvenes in a couple weeks!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
