Quick question. Does a Dwarfling find traps on 10% as indicated by the class table or 60% as indicated by the rules section? Thanks!

70%. You add his bonus to the 60%. I'll note the discrepancies and update the pdf! Thanks for letting me know!

Cheers. So by level 4 a Dwarfling finds traps 100% of the time? If so may I ask why bother having the Dwarfling table go up to 100%? What am I missing here?

You are 100p correct, there is no reason what so ever. I will rework the dwarfling trap table today.

So I figured out the issue and where it lies. In the dwarfling class table it should simply say "disarm traps" not find/disarm. So he goes through his life at 60%.. for now that is

I devoured this during my lunch hour but it won't let me write a full review until I've had it for a full day. I loved the references- especially Lord Randy, Combat Amphibian and Drool-Aid Man. I like that the system is pretty simple and the numbers stay pretty low and manageable. The rules reference sheet at the back is really smart and helpful.

My biggest complaints are visual things. The Burliness table on page 4 is organized strangely but I think that's just a formatting error. The maps on page 54 and 56 are also difficult to read for me and I imagine would be near impossible for someone who's red-green color blind (it'd also take a ton of ink to print on a typical home printer).

Overall, it's a solid, simple system that looks like it'd be pretty fun to run, especially for a one shot.

Thanks for the input!!! In regards to the Burliness table ill give it a look and see what i can clean up. And the map issue has been addressed and we are in the process of adding a B and W version in the back of the book specifically for the red-green color blind. Again thanks for the support Im very happy you enjoyed our little game!

Excellent playtest! Love the layout and graphics. Intersting tidbits of humor, overall dark and wickedly funny.
Pro's: Most of it is easy to follow and some game examples help to make it more accessible. Good arwork in a sort of punk/metal/OSR kind of way. Nostalgic tables with random results add tons to the setting.
Cons: Some things aren't readily apparent like in the example, one character uses "brains" to increase damage, but they could have used fury instead. There are some tables that are there for whatever reason, not labeled or explained.
Character sheet leaves off Hit Points, AC, and a few other things.
Had a blast playing the sample adventure on Nightmare Mode!!! Love this game. Keep at it. We named the Deathbringer "EVISCERATOR!" and the War Wizard "Iconoclast". There's more, but needless to say, we had a good romp! Lord Randy be Praised!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
