So.. I finally dropped the money to buy all three non-Hollow Siobury packs. Are you aware that the Village doesn't line up with the Windmill properly? It's like 12 pixels away and something like 2.3 degrees skewed. I don't even know precisely what. Plus the color schemes don't quite match. I mucked around with it in GIMP for a while, but I would have to do some clever nonsense to get it to match up.

Would it be possible just to get one giant VTT map for the whole township? I'm guessing that you're cropping these out of a larger image anyway.. and I'm just pasting them back together, so..?

Oh, and if you have the full Siobury Hollow (Autumn) map, I'd love to get that too. I was going to paste together extra areas for the chopped off buildings in the village, but if you've already ot them, that would be such a blessing!

I would disagree that it doesn't line up - and there's certainly not 12 pixels away or skewed at all. Nor is the colour scheme different at all. What you're noticing is the fact that the original village was made on it's own, intended as a single map with nothing adjoining it. We then decided to expand the map and add the windmill area above it. but the tricky thing there is that complex shadow blends and effects that go to the edge of the village map have to be recreated and matched in a new map. So, in some places there are some shadows where you might see a few pixels are misaligned, but that's it. As for the colour palette, it uses the exact same template setting and global palette, so that's not the case. The map is in no way skewed - that's not part of our process at all.

There is no single giant VTT map of the whole township. We haven't just made a huge village and then are chopping it up - we're adding adjoining areas as we think of ideas for the setting.

Hope that makes...See more

Well that's a bummer. I was really hoping that there was a master to fix the problem.

Note that the fenceline by the road lines up nicely. Now go look at the rooflines. Now, try to line up the rooflines.

Now, go look at the fence. That's where I got the guestimate of 'like 12 pixels off and skewed a couple of degrees'. I wasn't trying to be offensive, I was trying to find an easy way to solve the problem.

Actually.. I already know how to solve the problem. I recolored the 'Hollow' map to greens (Spring/Summer), so all I need to do is recolor the windmill scene to match. I also cropped the marketplace out and added it to the Hollow map, so I could have a marketplace during the Halloween campaign as well. I even recolored it to night time, just for fun. :)

Note that the Hollow map lines up 'close enough' with all of the leaves and smoke in the way. Odds are my players will never notice, I just want it to look right, because I want it 'perfect'.. or at least close...See more

Also, I just bought a pile of your stuff yesterday. I'm going to do a Sleepy Hollow / Pumpkin King / Lord of the Hunt Campaign using a pile of your maps for VTT in MapTool.

Can you suggest a covered bridge, either yours of another artist with matching art work? I think I also need some village watch towers, maybe a river / river tiles to go with the bridge..

Anything else you can suggest that I could throw in to a giant spread out battle map campaign with adventrures scouring the countryside to take care of Halloween monsters for villagers. :D

A Sleepy Hollow game sounds fun.

I'm afraid we don't have a covered bridge, but you could use any bridge and imagine there's a cover on top. Have you seen our Geomorph Bridges and Rivers set?

Yes, I bought two more big piles of assets from you, and I've got another pile in my wishlist for after I check on your answers to the questions I had. :)

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
