**I have currently set this and all of my products to 'pay what you want/can', this is a rough time for all of us around the globe and I want to do my part to support everyone out ther trying to get through this and have some fun, if you are in a position to support me making more maps I really appreciate it, but if you are unable to for any reason please enjoy these on the house!**

This is an Animated Map Pack, contained within is a 1 minute looped HD animation in conjunction with a Print and Online sized static copy and associated Player POV Perspectives to aid in immersion.

“Seriously?”, the First Mate’s cry echos over the beach as the Captain faces away from the cowering crew,  cradling his furrowed brow . “Not even one month! We haven’t even had this blasted ship for one month, and you’ve already found the one Bahamut forsaken, pitiful excuse for an island in this whole ocean”.

“But sir, the storm, it came out of nowhere…” one of the crewmen starts to voice up.

“SHUT IT KARL!”, roars the Captain turning around, “ONE JOB, YOU HAD ONE JOB AND YOU STUFFED IT!”. Pausing, he gathers his composure with a deep breath. “Okay,” the Captain mutters, “we’re near a shipping lane, so it shouldn't take too long for help to come, but until then you’re confined to the small island and I don't want to hear one peep out of you about not having enough coconuts”.

Tip for the MapGuffin products: As is, they're only useful for people who have a TV table setup.

You can convert them to animated gifs for Roll20 using ezgif or some other tool. But if you're not a media pro, it takes a lot of fooling around to get it to work out well and not too huge to reasonably upload to your limited Roll20 storage space (even on a paid account!).

Suggestion: Please add a gif version to all these assets. As it is there are probably a few hundred people using TV tables, maybe a few thousand? But Roll20 has MILLIONS of users. You could even sell these in the Roll20 marketplace and make a lot of money.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
