A seer has foreseen the rise of a powerful evil in the parched desert.
Before he can warn his liege, he is kidnapped by these same evil forces!
Can you rescue the seer before he is sacrificed to summon a demon lord? 

Greetings adventurers and Game Masters! 

I am pleased to release "Seer’s Recue"; a high level one-shot adventure fantasy adventure intended for 4 to 6 seasoned adventurers of levels 7 to 10. It is the second module of my new SG-Series of generic, system neutral adventures designed to be fully compatible with both OSRIC (and OSR rules) and the Fifth Edition (5E) of the world's most popular role-playing game.

SYNOPSIS: In this adventure your players will be hired by the wife of a seer, who tasks them with rescuing the man from the clutches of a band of marauders who attached them in the desert. This was no random attack, however, but a strike coordinated by a mad priest and his band of murderous assassins. For the seer had begun having visions of dark forces rising in the desert, and the couple were traveling across the desert to warn the lord of his homeland of this danger. Unfortunately, these same dark forces also became aware of the seer, and sent assassins to waylay him.

The assassins who waylaid the seer and his wife were sent by one Sarnin Turgor, a derange half-orc who serves a greater demon lord. Sarnin leads the members of the blood-thirsty Demon’s Maw assassins’ guild. The guild’s rank and file members have all entered into infernal pacts with this demon lord. On the orders of their dark patron the guild intends to sacrifice the seer in a Dark Mass which will summon this demon lord to this plane!

Can your players disrupt this evil rite, thwart the demon’s plans and save the day?

This book provides a complete one-shot adventure. While aiming to offer a non-rules specific module, we do strive to provide information to make the book useful to the majority of our readers. However, the GM will still need to refer to their gaming manuals of choice for complete monster statistics and treasure descriptions.

Geography Note: This adventure also introduces a new campaign territory in the world of Terrans, the vast Parched Desert. This harsh and dangerous land is home to nomadic tribes who wander the region following game and the growing seasons. Due to their lack of a central policing authority the region has of late become a haven for all manner of scoundrels, brigands and murders. The tribes disapprove of these unsavory elements and are in a constant state of war with them. This is an exciting expansion area and several of our adventures will be set here in the months to come!
