ENDLESS ADVENTURE

Classic hand drawn modular dungeon tiles set system

Set 1

FIRST STEP IN TO DEEP

Basic dungeon set

Set of 28 hand-drawn classic modular dungeon tiles. For the convenience of cutting sheets into tiles, you will find black cross marks on the sheets. They show the angles for each tile located on this sheet.

Benefits

1. This set of tiles for printing will not take up much space. It is convenient to store and use. At the same time, it is universal and flexible in the design of dungeons.

2. This dungeon system allows you to hide secret doors and traps. They really will not be visible until the players find them. And after finding them, they harmoniously fit into your dungeon.

3. Fog of war. With this system, you can make sure that your players do not see prematurely the rooms and corridors in which they have not yet been.

4. Design your dungeon and make 3 copies of the map: on one there will be a marking of tiles for quick map compilation; the second will have all the traps and hidden doors for the game master; on the third blank mini-map for players there will be a dungeon plan in case the game master wants players to find a dungeon map.

5. A set of 28 types of tiles with the possibility of increasing to 50+ types of tiles. Cut large tiles into smaller ones and you will get more types of tiles, which will make creating your dungeon more flexible. You can print multiple instances of the same tile. Then cut some of them into smaller ones, and leave some as a whole. This way you will get several types of tiles from one. For example, tiles 9 or 10 can be either whole or cut into smaller tiles at your discretion.

6. The set contains small, large and huge rooms. Alternating the sizes of the rooms will add variety to your dungeon and expand the possibilities of dungeon design.

7. For ease of use, all tiles are numbered and there is an additional sheet with numbered types of tiles. This will help you easily design your dungeons and quickly assemble them before the game or right during it.

8. This dungeon set is designed in such a way that its large rooms allow for redevelopment and can be divided into smaller rooms and corridors. I recommend that you laminate your tiles after printing. After that, you can draw and detail the dungeon on the go. A marker for a white board you can apply details, layouts of rooms, columns, steps, torches and more. This feature adds flexibility and variation to the set and your underground adventures.

9. Truly secret doors and walkways. Do not mark secret doors on the map for players on the gaming table. Tag them on the map for GM. After players have found the door, put a corridor or room on that place. Provide it with a door token as necessary.

A few examples of dungeons designed with the "First step in to deep" set. The alternation of large and small rooms sets a variety of dungeons and provides great opportunities for design.

Bonus

Sheet with single and double doors, as well as locks to indicate locked doors. Using this sheet you can make standing doors for your dungeons. Stick this sheet on cardboard. Then cut the doors and squares. Glue the two doors back to back and glue vertically on PVA glue to the appropriate squares size. Or insert the doors glued on one layer of cardboard into the stands. With locks you can mark locked doors in your dungeons.

I printed the doors and locks on a laser printer, pasted them on cardboard using PVA and painted them by hand with watercolors. You should also have something similar.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
