This is solid one-on-one Cthulhu Invictus scenario that can be played in single session. Writing is good, and text have just enough details for short session. You can expand it via doing some research about Roman Empire if you want. The scenario requires you to have Cthulhu Invictus rulebook (or Cthulhu Through Ages if I understand correctly) to run it. But, basically, you need just armor rules and description of some skills from this book. The character sheet looks a little strange, in the Cthulhu invictus rulebook it looks very different. The protagonist portrait art is not for everyone. I am very happy to find this author, because his one-on-one scenarios is very decent. For some reason he ignores just classic 1920s era, but I hope, someday, Marco creates the scenario for this era :).

Thanks for purchasing this scenario. The character sheet was the one provided by Chaosium which indeed looks different from the Invictus one. As for armor and skills, yes the Invictus or Through ages book would help but I think it's pretty much straight forward (unless Im wrong, tbh its been some time since I wrote this scenario and dont really remember what info I've put on it, sorry).
The portrait was made by myself since she wanted to be involved somehow. I can totally see why your comment though. As for the 20s, I did publish one one-shot for that era but not as a 1 keeper-1 player. I have taken a break from Cthulhu, but who knows, if I ever come back to it, maybe I will write one in the roaring 20s :D. Again, thanks for the purchase and kind review!

Secondly, the sheets would need Adobe Acrobat Reader DC or Foxit Reader. The sheet comes from the chaosium website, I just filled it. Anyway, I have added a .doc file with the info for the character.

These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
