Sorcerous Origin - Vampiric Bloodline

Watermarked PDF

Vampirism, a curse of undeath in which the victim is driven by the overpowering thirst for the blood of the living, is certainly that - a curse. Despite being relegated to the gloom of the night, fearful mortals still refuse even to utter the names of these infamous creatures. Not bound by the whims of a warlock's patron, nor the sleepless path of study by wizards, vampires tirelessly master the arcane arts, bending even magical power to their inexorable charm. Their machinations are all their own, and for this reason, some mortals seek out the vampire's kiss. Those who survive these encounters will find themselves reborn into a new world of shadow, host to unimagined power in a new undead form.

Expanding upon the mechanics of the 5E Sorcerer class, this PDF allows you to create vampiric characters. Sorcerers with the vampiric bloodline gain vulnerability to sunlight, but also the ability to use their comrades' (or victims') hit dice to gain temporary hit points, and later the ability to use your sorcery points for vampiric transformations and to magically regenerate your wounds.

This PDF is compatible with the Fifth Edition of the world's most popular Roleplaying Game

This archetype provides great flavor and is one of the better ways I've seen vampirism handled. I would highly recommend it to players who put strong emphasis on roleplaying.  [...]

Well worth the price! It's well written and feels just like an official supplement. The intro text flows super smoothly and does a great job setting the tone. Flavor-wise, it’s pretty much perfect. The different features cover all of the classic vamp [...]

A great supplement for those who want to play the children of the night. I especially loved the concept of an artificial vampire, something that is unheard of to me for vampire characters in D&D. Definetly pick this one up if you have any interest [...]

This vampiric sorcerer origin is honestly very solid. It's a great addition to the very limited pool of options presented in 5th edition, and a huge posibility for me in leveling up in a campaign I'm in. It's definitely at least worth a look through as [...]

The Vampiric Bloodline reminds me so much of my first ever campaign, actually run by TBM_Christopher, where one of the players roleplayed his vampire almost the exact same way. That campaign was in 4th edition, and 5th edition has had a lack of both [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
