The Games Master’s Guide to Dunromin – nearly 300 pages of ideas and descriptions:

While Dunromin is a feast for the mind for any player with enough coin to take advantage of it, everything in the Players’ Guide to Dunromin is but a veneer for the grimy underbelly that is the capital of the Land of the Young.  Only the Games Master’s Guide to Dunromin can peel back that veneer and expose the fun and wonder concealed by it…

Dunromin Lanscapes

This new second edition of the GM’s Guide to Dunromin Includes:

  • Nearly 300 pages including all the GM information on all the locations, Guilds and personalities in the Players’ Guide with even more depth in this second edition;
  • 60 pages of NPCs with additional details on significant people and groups;
  • 2 new NPC character classes;
  • Dozens of adventure hooks and ideas;
  • Wandering Monster Tables;
  • New Magic Items, and even more in this second edition;

                                                                     And much, much more!

Dunromin is a fantasy city like no other!  Conceived and designed as a setting for low- to mid-level fantasy role-playing games (up to about 18th level, depending on your style), it features all the resources you need to have a consistent, detailed yet flexible and innovative setting.  The Wonderful City of Dunromin can be used for city-based adventures; as a base to explore the Land of the Young and the surrounding wilderness; to get embroiled in wider campaigns; or just to use as a safe base for your characters to rest up, train and relax.

This publication is a glimpse into the wider Fantasy Role Playing Game setting of the World of Barnaynia but can be used independently in your own campaign if you just need a quick city fix.

This Campaign Resource is designed to be used in almost ANY Fantasy Role Playing Game and is system agnostic up to page 182. The rest is designed primarily for OSRIC and Old School Essentials but can be used with any OSR or 1st or 2nd Edition D&D.

Does this come with a map of the city in an image file format suitable for a VTT?

PUBLISHER
Hi Dan,
Sorry for the slow response - I don't know how we missed the alert for your question.
The city maps are all the in the FREE pdf SM00 A Traveller's Atlas of Dunromin and the Land of the Young. We don't have specific VTT downloads yet (it's on the planning wipeboard) but the temple maps are drawn in hi res so you can probably import or screen-grab directly into your VTT and work out things from there.
Let us know how you get on!
Again, sorry for the slow response.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
