Overview

There is no such thing as a simple trip on the Great Plains when tensions flare between the humans settling the prairie and the malcontent centaurs eager to reclaim their ancient territory. Fledgling adventurers looking for a few gold pieces to feed their empty stomachs find themselves in the position to stop an impending war that could water the plains in blood. All they need to do is survive long enough to stop a small band of centaur raiders holed up in the Barrowlands, a bronze age burial ground shrouded in fog and haunted by the dead of a time best forgotten.

Part 1 of the Plainswar Saga, a 4 part scheduled adventure series involving a war between humans and centaurs on the Great Plains. Can also be played as a "One-Shot" adventure.

Rouse the Warherd!

Not all centaurs are born the same. Not all of them are content to let humans steal their lands and murder their children. Some are born with the horns of a ram: a holdover from olden times when the mad blood stirred and the plains ran red with the blood of the warherd’s enemies.

Now comes Boromos the Horned One, an agent of fury and change. Exiled from their own clans, his raiders attack and pillage human settlements to incite a war that will unite the scattered centaur tribes and make the plains tremble once more beneath the thunder of a thousand hooves.

Yet, glory forged from war has an all too heavy cost. Boromos is still young, still attracting followers. Perhaps a band of heroes can stop the renegades before they plunge the region into a pointless war capable of scourging the Great Plains of humans and centaurs alike.

You get 2 versions of Blood and Hoof: a full-graphics ditigal pdf version and a greyscale printer friendly version with all non-essential pictures removed to save your ink cartridges when printing a physical copy.
