A bank heist turned to a hostage situation, and the player characters are stuck in the middle!

It’s 1976 in San Francisco, and the player characters are forced to confront their past when a disgruntled ex-cop demands they act as negotiators, after he takes hostages at the bank. The local cops have cordoned off the area, S.W.A.T. teams are in place, the F.B.I. is “in charge,” news teams are competing over the best story, and curious citizens have amassed around the perimeter.

Bullets over Frisco Bay is an open-ended, sandbox style scenario where the players must confront elements of their characters’ respective pasts. Set in the summer of 1976 San Francisco, the adventure is inspired by the cop and detective shows of the era, such as Starsky & Hutch, Kojak, Police Story, etc. Compatible with SWADE.

You can download just the PDF of the adventure if you wish, but there is a zip file with more goodies:

In the zip file, you will find:

  • 7 pre-generated characters and character sheets

  • Table tents for said pre-gens

  • NPC stats

  • 3 maps that are about the Bank

  • 20 unique cards for the ‘’Kick it up a Notch’’ setting rule

  • A file that will allow you to run the adventure on Fantasy Grounds

  • 2 alternate covers, because ‘’reasons’’

  • Scribus file, which other SW game designers can use as a template for their own products

Pinnacle Entertainment Group authorizes the sale of this fan made product only through OneBookShelf for charitable purposes. Please give generously.

Also note that all proceeds for the sales of this adventure go to a great organization called GenU Gamer in Geelong Australia, and is run mainly by our good friend and fellow Savage, Pâris Conté (aka Pure Mongrel). Aiding young people explore table-top and video game worlds for the tools to build better realities. Twitter: @GenUGAMER

Exactly how do I import "Bullets over Frisco Bay" into Fantasy Grounds Classic? I'm brand new to FG and haven't imported any third-party modules before.

Hello John.
First off, thank you for purchasing/downloading our Bullets over Frisco Bay product.I hope you and your friends enjoy it.
Secondly, importing the module isn't too difficult.

Once you've downloaded it to you computer, simply locate your ''modules'' folder within the Fantasy Grounds VTT folder, and simply drag and drop ''Bullets Over Frisco Bay.mod'' into it.
Then boot up FG.

Thank you for letting me know. I tried to fix it but it was not available, so I just made the quick preview the same amount of pages.

For some reason I cannot download the file. Five tries, no result. Other files worked just fine so I don't think it has something to do with my computer.

Works for me. Perhaps the problem is the large file size, or the fact that it's a zip rather than a PDF?

Original electronic
Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
