At the close of World War II, Russian commandos raid a secret German bunker in advance of American forces: their prize, a prototype V-5 rocket, powered by nuclear fission. The Space Race has begun... ten years earlier than in our own time.

Greetings, comrade, and welcome to the world of Red Venus: rocketpunk as seen through Eastern eyes. Play as brave cosmonauts, exploring a more habitable solar system with the aid of Soviet super-science. Beneath thick clouds, Venus seethes with hostile life; while on cold, arid Mars, the crumbling obelisks of a once-great civilisation confront thinning skies. Dangers both familiar and unknown await, as capitalist oppressors seek to exploit the cosmos; CIA agents lurk alongside alien horrors.

But other forces exist, dwarfing humanity in power: these ancients watch us with cold scrutiny, indifferent to our clashing ideologies. Perhaps one day mankind will need to unite against this common threat - if we don’t kill each other first.
