Hey so I spotted the following typos and other issues when writing my review. :-)

# Typoes

p.3 Aasimar lists Infravision twice.

p.4 "under the aasmiar's (sic) control"

p.5 Aasimar's Trained saving throw progression doesn't improve at 10th level like the others.

p.10 Dwarven Thief's Detect Construction Tricks says "dwarves priest" in the second sentence

p.10 The standard Thief's note about adjusting stats during character creation is between Listening at Doors and Back-Stab, instead of at the beginning of the class writeup

p.11 "a successful dwarves (sic) thief"

p.11 Dwarven Thief XP progression looks like 2nd level should be 1,400 instead of 1,500

p.12 in the Dwarven Thief Abilities chart, is the 35% Find Traps at 4th level intentional? Standard Thief goes straight from 30% to 40%

p.13 Read Languages says "can read non-magical text in any lan- guage"...See more

Great. Will this go POD to go with my other B/X essentials?

I will. It will be a few weeks though.

Any further thoughts on a print version of this?

The reason I originally got into od&d and b/x was to avoid half of the above mentioned classes. Dragonborn, teiflings heroes?....just seems wrong to me. Great cover art though!

I agree in that I too don't care for many of those classes as player characters. But the solution is simple: simply don't use this supplement. For those who do like them, this supplement is a welcome addition.

You're right, of course, but it's pretty funny. It's like, "Here's a supplement that puts the Advanced back in your Basic!" To each his own, most def.

The reason I chose to include those racial classes was to act as a bridge for newer players back to B/X. I understand they are not for everyone, but I thought they should be included.

For sure, and good point about bridging 5e players back to the "light" :D
Love the look of your book though. Make a "Grognard compatible" version of this book and its an insta-buy for me!

I would point out that OD&D tells players they can play a dragon if they want, as long as it starts off low powered, and any other monsters, while BX literally put out 4 books (Creature Crucible) with dozens of monsters as player character classes.

If you don't want to play monsters, both OD&D and BX are the wrong choices, since that's been TSR's official stance that they were okay.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
