Play the men and women who have dropped out of everyday life and American culture, joining an illegal uprising against the body-stealing horrors who are secretly taking over, one victim at a time. In the core book, you'll get 15 basic playbooks, over 25 advanced playbooks, 20 different starting scenarios, 20 different types of Tribal Families, rules for 13 different powerful spirits to interact with, and over 30 different types of enemies, including both supernatural and alien menaces. Not to mention over 200 various moves. All of this content is compatible with other Apocalypse Engine games with a little work.

I suddenly thought of Rogue Qlippoth being a thing. Albeit a thing not being trusted by anyone. Say, one in a few thousand Qlippoth takes the time to self-reflect. Maybe considers that where they've ended up has lasted as long as it has, held up against everything their species has done to destroy it, because...perhaps it's better? If one lives in darkness, exposure to light causes one to turn away from the source. Perhaps that Qlippoth decides that it doesn't want to break this world. Maybe it decides it likes its human family, or its network of friends, or golf or fishing on the weekends. Maybe it doesn't want that to end, so it decides to stop its brethren - probably trying evangelizing at first, and when that doesn't work, direct action. So it decides to help Earth.
(And maybe, inside its thoughts, is the idea of evolution accompanying revolution - that perhaps, just perhaps, it could adapt to live here, thrive here. That would be a coup and a half.)

As with any RPG, you're free to play it however you want. There aren't any specific badguy playbooks. Maybe I'll make a supplement someday.

This is arguably the ugliest RPG book i have ever seen. Well, at least of all those produced after the year 2000. Of course YMMW.
But the content is actually pretty cool. If you manage to dig trough the horrible layout, ugly artwork and spaced out colours, that is.

Patrick, I absolutely agree. This is what happens when you let a color-blind artistically challenged guy like me make a game book all by himself. If you're aware of any layout designers or artists who are willing to work cheap, tell them to get in touch. I hope you at least enjoyed the content.

I have a question. Some of the advanced playbooks mention a stat called Heart, which is nowhere in the book. Is this a typo or am I missing something obvious?
