Honour Lite

Honour Lite RPG allows you to enter the half-worlds of the shadows, the sideways worlds of the periphery, the worlds of myths and legends. It takes you into the near-future world of Asia's megacities, initially with a focus on Hong Kong. It is also a game steeped in supernatural lore. Creatures from mythology live just under the radar of most of humanity, often just trying to make a living, but some going much further, striving for power, influence and wealth - the means to shape the world of humanity. Others have more alien motives, some sinister, some innocuous but each one beyond all but the most brilliant, or warped, human minds. Instead of elves or dwarves, there are deceptive Fey Demons peddling street drugs, mind-wiping Baizu working for seedy mega-corporations, and double fisted gun wielding Triads.

Players will control characters, called player-characters (PCs), who live a world dreamed up and controlled by the Storyteller.

Storytellers will create their version of reality for the PCs to adventure in, battle in, love in, hate in and inevitably, die in.

This game is the (dramatically) lighter version of our upcoming game Honour: The Awakening, itself the second edition of the original 2016 game, Honour RPG.

This game gives you a taste of the full Honour experience, with a much reduced and simplified character generation system and the very basics of the task resolution and combat system.

This version does not contain a catalogue of all the Inhuman demons and Charmed Ones that characters in the full version can encounter, nor does it incorporate the secretive Factions to which PCs can give their allegiance.

We hope that you will enjoy this lite version of Honour and that it will intrigue you enough to guide you towards the full game (to be published later this year in two volumes, the Player’s Handbook and the Storytellers Guide).

For now, enjoy the adventure and remember, it isn’t a matter of life and death, it’s more important than that, it’s a matter of Honour.
