Any chance this product can be made available as a PDF? While the printed cards currently cost approx. AU$13, the delivery costs are almost double, at AU$22 - making a purchase totally unreasonable.

Yeah postage is super expensive (it's not quite that bad to me in the UK, but sill prohibitive).
Anyway, it's on my to-do list - but I have no idea when I'll get around to it.
In the meantime, if it's just the map element of the cards you're interested in, I've been drawing them (and many more) for years and sharing them for free (see my answer to David for a link to the google album).

Yes, I do have the geomorphs. I thought your card idea was neat, and hoped to support you further. I look forward to seeing this come to PDF.

I'll try to bump it up the to-do list :)

Just order my deck. I can't wait to put these to use. I have a question though. Is there anyway to get a PDF file of the cards, even multiple cards per page, so the deck can be used for online games?

Is it the playing card aspect you're interested in (for displaying initiative in savage worlds for example), or is it the maps you're after?

If it's just the maps, then you can already get them (and many more) here:

I hope that helps :)

well, both. I was going to use these cards in my on line PbP games to generate random dungeons. And use the images as well in MapTools. But I suppose with a little home work, and a d52 dice roller I can accomplish this using the link you provided. Thanks

Original electronic
Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
