PDF
$29.99

This massive, full-color volume is filled with deep resources just for the Delta Green game master.

  • THE PAST: details on the world and history of Delta Green.
  • THE UNNATURAL: details on the Cthulhu Mythos, from monsters to hypergeometry to the Great Old Ones, including rules for creating new threats.
  • THE SCHISM: deep details on the Delta Green organization itself -- or rather, two different Delta Green groups, not always working to the same ends.
  • THE OPERA: guidelines for creating scenarios, running campaigns, and customizing the setting.
  • APPENDICES: a ready-to-play scenario, "The Sentinels of Twilight," a Handler-facing glossary, index, recommended media, sample NPCs to use in any game, rules variants, and more.

Further terrors can be found in the companion volume, the silver Ennie Award-winning AGENT'S HANDBOOK, and in the free quickstart rules, the gold Ennie Award-winning NEED TO KNOW.

Is there still going to be a print version of this?

I'm looking for a percentile system completely independent of Chaosium. Is Chaosium involved in any way in this publication? Does Chaosium receive any proceeds from purchases of this product?

It uses a license that is from Wizards of the Coast, and I don't think that is directly related to BRP. BRP was the last name I knew of for the CoC owned and open game system license they had. When people say it is from Chaosium I don't really understand what they mean, either WotC owns Chaosium now or the BRP they use is owned by WotC. It's pretty confusing to me, to be honest. In the credits, there are a handful of pages they list as being under that license, so I don't think the whole system is WotC material or OGL.

It is also not the WotC D20 system OGL, though maybe that is what they pulled some of the minor rules variations from. IDK, I don't play any of the D20 from WotC, so I don't know.

Could this be used with Call of Cthulhu Materials from Chaosium?

Will this go to Print on Demand?

PUBLISHER
No. It's a full-color book, so the printing cost is too high for POD.

Why did they change the name of the 1928 Innsmouth Raid from "Project COVENANT" to "Project PUZZLEBOX"? Every DG book until now called it "COVENANT."

This is answered in-universe. The COVENANT files were fairly widely distributed by the Navy at some point in the '30s - including to other services. DG pulled all the files back in after it was constituted in 1942 and changed the codewords to make it harder for people who remembered COVENANT to go digging.

I wondered if it was a legal issue because the name COVENANT first appeared in a Chaosium product (Escape from Innsmouth). I thought this might have been the case when I noticed many of the monsters and entities (particularly ones not invented by Lovecraft like Cthugha and Ithaqua) have had their names changed.

Looks nice. So to clarify, this book does not include rules for agent creation, right? We'll need the Agents's Handbook and Handler's Guide to run the game?

Also, when will this be out in print? :)

Correct, "Delta Green: The Role-Playing Game" is in two volumes: the Agent's Handbook and the Handler's Guide.

Handler's Guide will be in print in the spring.

Great. I have both books now (they look great): The Agent's book in hardcover, and the Handler's Guide on pdf (going to get the hardcover when it comes out).
Are there more printed releases planned in 2018? :)

"The Fall of Delta Green" and the scenario collections "Control Group" and "A Night at the Opera" should come out in hardback in 2018.

Eingescanntes Buchformat
