Clip-On Walls

Clip-On Walls

STL (3D Model)

This set includes three sizes of clip-on walls (plus two reversed from side to side).  With these five models, you can clip walls to the outside of any Fat Dragon Games dungeon floor tiles (including corners and intersections), allowing you to use the full floor space.  For instance, you can create a corridor a full tile wide (2" wide), a room with exactly 4" or 6" of floor space, or other similar configurations.

The set includes:

  • standalone-wall.stl -- a 2" wall, fits the side of a standard floor tile
  • standalone-short.stl -- a 1.5" wall, fits alongside a perpendicular standalone wall in order to make a T or U intersection
  • standalone-long.stl -- a 2.5" wall; to make a corner around the outside of a standard floor tile, use one normal and one long standalone wall on adjacent sides

Additionally, since the short and long walls have a clip hole that's off-center, there are reversed versions included, so that you can print with the extra short or long part on either side.

BONUS TILES!  Standard width clip-on torch wall and clip-on magical spiral wall are also included!  Also the new 1"x2" dungeon floor (with clip holes on both long sides), to extend your dungeon in half-sized increments!

NOTE: this set does not include a full-size floor tile.  However, there is a standard dungeon floor tile included in the Fat Dragon Games Free Sample Set.

So, stupid question. How do these differ from FDG's separate walls? Thanks! This set doesn't appear to contain this, what I'm actually looking for is something similar to that (separate walls) which contains a secret door - with no luck so far. :)

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
