Void Racers : Let's Play

An invincible alien armada has laid waste to your home world, and YOU, the captain of your civilisa­tion's sole star-faring vessel, are the only being that can prevent the extinction of your once-mighty spe­cies. Pursued by an implacable enemy and hounded by the remnants of other fleeing civilisations, YOU must command your starship deep into uncharted space within the Void Nebula in search of the habita­ble planet that is rumoured to be hidden within. You must hurry : your pursuers are hot on your heels and the other species are trying to find the planet first.

This is a Let's Play version of a gamebook originally played through on the Something Awful Forums. It's about 200 pages long and includes two expansion packs and a deck of crew and item cards. This book has unfortunately been lost and these remnants are all that are left: for now. As it's a record of a Let's Play it's unfortunately pretty linear - you click on the page to go to the next one. Still, it's pretty funny and I reckon worth a download.

Early attempts at a re-make of this book would eventually lead to Star Bastards, the first fully playable Two-Fisted Fantasy. It's set in the same universe as Void Racers so if you enjoy this book you'll probably like that one. Check it out here on DriveThruRPG. 

Warning: this isn't for kids. While there's no expicit sex we're playing as a race of insane, decadent space crocodiles so there's some gross violence.
