K another thing, you've got shield spikes in the write up for the bladed edge. I'm assuming this is a copy paste error and is supposed to read bladed edge but I figured I should ask.

Couple of things. So I just picked this book up and am loving it so far but there are some spelling mistakes that keep popping up that are killing me.

On pg. 23 with the Wicker material you have written, "Wicker shields cost half as much as wooden shields and
weigh 25% lighter." beyond the off grammar does this mean that they way 25% less than a regular shield or that they weigh only 25% as much as said shield?

Hoping to hear from you guy soon I'm really digging this entry in the Call to Arms series but need to know which one of these you intended before I start building militiamen with leather faced wicker shields.

    Hey Tyler,

I sent a message to Taylor, the author, to try to address this matter. I'm the Line Developer.

I "think" what he wanted it to be was:

Wicker shields cost half as much as base wooden shields of their type, and weigh 75% of what base wooden shields of their type do."

We were trying to rewrite all entries to be shield specific and sometimes the language got confused as, if you look at normal Special Material write ups, they use odd language.

It means they weigh 25% less than a regular shield. If the regular shield weighs 12 lbs a wicker one weighs 9lbs.

Thanks! Though I will say, I'm a little sad they aren't 25% weight lol. Was down to have some lizardfolk with some ultralight shields floating around.

    Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
    Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
