"Definitely check out the items in this product. They will awe and amaze, but not so much they have to be excluded from a campaign. That is a combination worth taking to the bank." (more)

"I usually found myself imagining the campaign that one would find and use these items. And that's what such supplements are really about: stirring the imagination for better gameplay. Some of these potential campaigns were practically writing themselves as I read them--just add npc's, monsters, and salt to taste."

"There is a nice variety of items here and having them gain power as the character levels is a nice way of keeping the items on pace with the character. The synergy of items is a great way to get characters interested in side treks to quest after artifacts that will help out one they found." (more)

This 50-page d20 sourcebook contains over 70+ Artifact items for all character levels. The items in Synergy Artifacts comes in sets -- and as a character wears more items from the same set, the more powers and abilities will be granted to him! Furthermore, many of the items in this book are scalable -- they become more powerful as the wearer becomes higher in level!

This zip file contains two primary versions of Synergy Artifacts: a Landscape Pdf version for easy online reading and a Portrait Pdf version for easy printing. Both pdf versions have been bookmarked for easy navigation.

As a bonus, we have added a special portrait RTF version that will allow the owner to cut/copy/paste at will! The Le Games recognizes the owners desire to print only what they want from a book, and this special RTF version will give them that ability!

Still not sure? Take a look at the demo.

I bought this book expecting some guidelines and balanced items. Unfortunately that is not what the designers intended. The items in the pdf range from cool to inane, and the values are frequently way off what would be expected. If you are just look [...]

This whole thing was an outstanding concept, but I was pretty disappointed with the end product. The whole structure of the thing felt very scripted and mechanical, rather than creative or exciting... there was no 'flow' to it. The items themselves [...]

There is some really nice stuff in here. The only downside is that these are NOT for a low-powered game! (and would require signifigant changes to make them work) With the exception of the Baubles, most of these items get extremely powerful especially [...]

I can't believe all of the stuff packed into this book! With the idea of items gaining more abilities as the character levels as well as synergy bonuses from other parts allows GM's to introduce "Artifacts" to characters at all levels. [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
