Hello N.J, I was wondering if you will release a full KoP printed edition with the 3 modules?

Just wanted to say that the print version is a beautiful looking book. However it should be mentioned that the book is sized for A5 paper (that's about 9" by 6") instead of the regular size for RPG books. In between that and the fact that the name isn't written on the spine it is the kind of book that can disappear in your gaming bookcase.

As the designer of this, I actually wanted to share some design notes for everything that's in this.

Cerebral Kineticist
It's basically an intelligence Overwhelming Soul. It still comes out weaker than the base, but for people who aren't big on recalculating hit points as well as those who are looking for multiple attribute dependence for both physical and mental stats, it's a solid archetype.

Elemental Avatar
We all knew this was coming, and personally I think this is a seriously fun archetype for those out there who wanted to play Aang or Korra. It feels overpowered at first, but playing through it can give a sense of accomplishment at how slowly things accrue due to the slowed rate of both infusions and wild talents. It's a rewarding archetype that keeps in line with the base assumptions of the class while still giving plenty of room to grow....See more />
Elemental Scion
Another archetype that I felt NEEDED to exist, it's amusingly almost the opposite of the last one, and one that helps facilitate a certain style of play that felt absent from the original. Focusing should give more of a benefit than it does initially, and I feel like specialist will really enjoy this.

Kinetic Duelist
Again, consider this the 'discount' version of Elemental Annihilator. More of a 'fun' archetype idea, I really like Kinetic Blade. And I think having it as a 'default' is just awesome, feeling more like a soldier or warrior than normal. It's something that also combines with every other archetype here, which was another design goal so that it's accessible to anyone who's looking to try a more martial approach.

Light
This was one of the two originally planned elements next to sound, although it needed a bit of a push to actually come together. Really, light was always going to be illusion focused since illusions are fun, and really, a lot of illusions are based around the silent image line, making it very easy to compress them as wild talents.

Really, the hardest thing was deciding on a simple blast, and I decided to cop out on that one, something I couldn't do again later with a different element.

Sound
The original element, this was the one I KNEW I wanted to do right away. The idea of a vibromancer was just perfect to me, it's a character with their own soundtrack, and in design they were basically a kineticist bard. I'm a little sad that they have to wait until 6th level to REALLY hit that bard niche, but whatever, they have a lot of fun tools and one of the best basic blast in the game.

Sonic got dropped a damage die due to how little sonic is resisted, it's nearly typeless, and giving it a second blast just felt right to me in case some GMs thought sonic damage was just a bit too good.

Time
This was probably the hardest of the bunch, designwise. I never even planned for it, but I got some ideas and then just didn't stop writing. Time powers are so hard to adjudicate in a game like this, so I made sure they were as localized as possible (either 1 target or such), which is why time lacks a big form infusion.

Everything time does is very hard wired to only the barest of ability to alter the time stream, so you're not getting any problems with paradoxes and such. Time's blast basically had to be typeless, as did the composite, but I didn't want the composite to be the go to for damage, which is why the composite was dropped 2 steps.

Misc
For a lot of the other elements, I was just looking for things that people wanted, scouring threads to see what everyone was looking for in this class. A lot of ideas were pretty amazing, and definitely deserved inclusion. Some new ideas were just very obvious to me, and as such I just had to invest some time into making them mechanically sound.

Conclusion
In all, I had a lot of fun making this. I think it's all quite balanced with the original content, so check it out and give it a review if you can!
