So, basically, all of the originally Pathfinder-only books have now had new releases containing both Pathfinder and D&D 5e conversions? Well, that's expensive if you prefer the physical books like I do... ah well, I didn't buy that many Pathfinder-only books; Tribes, Guide to the Pony Pantheon, Everglow Bestiary and Griffons of Everglow. But it'll be a while before my finances will support purchasing any of these.

I humbly suggest waiting, if you're going for physical. Revisions are coming, much like winter.

In this book, one of the feats (Perilous Balance) lists a prerequisite of "Deep Visions". I can't find this feat or ability in Tribes, Luminace's, Races, or the core Campaign Setting book, or on the Pathfinder SRD. Is this feat/ability missing, or in one of the books I don't have yet?

The core was revised after this. Many apologies. Native of the Deep is enough to qualify, which sea horses begin with. I presume this is for Pathfinder?

Yes, this would be for pathfinder. My apologies for taking so long to respond!

Will dragons and griffins ever be playable races, or is there already a book about them im missing? I remember ages back i saw they were meant to be playable races but ive yet to find official stats for them. Was this idea scrapped?

Information on how to play a griffin is available in the core campaign book. Four dragons you will have to wait for Princess Luminace for fifth ed dragons. Later, tactics will allow you to be a dragon Pony.

So I've wanted to play a short-leg, hippogriff or a satyr for a while now, but it doesn't say the height and weight modifiers. And if you wanted to hear I have a few race ideas.

Only one of those are in the book (short leg). Sorry for the lacking height/weight. Reduce by 50% for height and 1/8th for weight compared to earth-bound ponies. They're tiny and adorable!

Okay, thanks a bunch. But I have a few requests for new races, one of them being a playable cow. It would have +2 to Strength and constitution but -2 for intelligence, it would move at 30ft with low-light vision. It would be immune to being poisoned. I know your busy and cant add in every request you get, but I thought I might as well ask. :)

this book has really helped me with the adventures. But one question about the whole of Ponyfinder in general. I've been wanting to get the books in physical form and not PDF, and I can only find three that have the physical option. This one, griffins of Everglow and campaign setting, I want to get the others as physical form but I cant find a way to get it. Can you please help.

We'd love to offer everything for print, but the price difference would be unfair to you, the buyer. This book is a great example, allowing us to offer a print option from what was many pdf-only books into one book large enough to be a good deal at the price.

Charging enough to cover the printing on a book we only charge $2-3 for would be... difficult.

Can we maybe get a PDF without the books? I'd love to get this but no way can I afford to pay that much for a book.

I'm not sure I understand? Watermark PDF is an option for $19.99, which is just the PDF, without a physical book. Cheaper than the $2 for each book of the individual tribe books on their own.

There is it appears to be a fairly major formatting error on the Anteans section of the book, largely how there seems to be an archetype yet it blends in with the race traits and is thus confusing on where the archetypes starts and the race traits end.

I see no archetypes in Anteans. To what do you refer?

He's probably talking about the Guardians of the Small, a Paladin archetype that trades spellcasting for a bunch of "help the little folk" abilities that fit the Antean's lore very well. It's in the right column of the Antean's first page (page 71), above Hooves of Justice but below Sacrifice for the Tiny.

It's never too late to fix something. It won't fix the ones that are already printed, unfortunately.

I am the layout designer for these books as of recently, which also makes me part editor - and sometimes I make mistakes because I'm really an illustrator, and I'm dusting off decade-old page design skills to fulfill the needs of the team - and I'm learning new software literally as I go along. This was a particularly unfortunate mistake on my part. Technically I am an amateur at this, but I'm working hard as I can to improve with each new product we release (if you've been with us for a while, you may have seen a difference over the last several months). I am currently fixing the errata that has been pointed out to me, so you can expect a New and Improved book before the end of the month. There are so many things to be done, and only so many hours in the day, but rest assured we are constantly working to fix errors - and making every effort to lessen the number of errors -before- release, but we're a small indy team so stuff does slip through the cracks sometimes. Bear with us! We love you for it.

Oh, I had not realized another reply was made. I am thankful for such a detailed response and glad to hear that you are working hard. Mistakes happen, what matters is that they are fixed whenever possible and something great comes from it.

Something I'm a bit curious about. Several pages make reference to Anteans mixed together with other tribes (the Unicorn's stereotypes page makes reference to a Unicorn Antean, and the Antean's own section mentions an Antean Leatherwing). The Antean's description mentions that they lose the Earth-Bound trait to be Anteans (while still somehow keeping it...?), which would make these combinations impossible. Is there something that I'm missing here?

Anteans are a spiritual tribe, and give up 'unique destiny' to become an antean, which is the bonus feat. So you can be a unicorn antean or a pegasus antean.

You cannot be a doppelganger/antean, or a gem pony/antean, since both of those also swap out unique destiny.

Just checked the Campaign Setting book and yeah, it turns out Anteans do give up their bonus feat to be big. My bad. If you ever release a revision for this book, you may want to fix that here - it claims that they give up Earth-Bound in a box under Special Abilities.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
