I had the chance to play in a session with the writer of the game at a gaming convention. It was a truly remarkable experience that I will never forget, I enjoyed myself immensely and having been singing the praises of Spirit of 77 to all of my gaming friends. If you like the feel of 70's cult classic action movies this is the setting for you and your table.

Hey! I just bought "Space: 1989" the other day, and I LOVE IT. I LOVE IT RIGHT IN THE FACE. So I came back to DTRPG to say, "Hey, I LOVE IT RIGHT IN THE FACE AND I WANT IT TO BE ITS OWN GAME", but...it's no longer available. Lucky me, I got it when I did, but...what gives? And I LOVE IT RIGHT IN THE FACE AND I WANT IT TO BE ITS OWN GAME DO YOU HEAR ME also I went to your website so I could leave a message or e-mail you or something but no dice.

I purchased the core rulebook but it's not downloading properly, Adobe acrobat cannot open it. Also I noticed on this site that whenever I buy something there's a "click to get it" link which is not here on this product.

Thought I had purchased core rulebook, but all I got were the rap sheets and 7 total pages including cover of very cute pages (fake comic book ads, etc.), but definitely no core rulebook or details about the city (or even what "Gearshift" and P, N, L, D1, D2, and O meant). Digital, although I was planning to order both. My Account lists a very nice note about Spirit of 77, but for some reason the core rulebook did not come through (you can see it in the next to last invoice from my many purchases :-) ). Please help! I will be happy to re-purchases (although 10.99 is a bit steep for the few pages I received, I don't mind). Been supporting causes through here for a while. First time I've not been able to eventually get stuff I paid for. Thank you for your help.

Quick question(s): Is the PDFs included with the print bundle? Also is there a PDF version available for Greatest Hits Vol. 1? Last Question: Is there anything else out for Spirit of 77 that I should be aware of? Other than the three products listed here.
While I love and prefer print books, I do love the flexibility of having PDFs when traveling.

Hi Brennon - Yes, PDF's should be included in the print bundle (If not, let us know). We're trying to decide how to do a PDF for GH v.1, once it's available we will update the package for those who purchase it. We are also working on a new Double Feature and combining that into a Greatest Hits, Vol. 2.

Absolutely. What I've found is that there is a page count - around 150 - after which paperbacks can be unwieldy to read. 312 certainly qualifies! Just easier to read and holds up better over time - and looks better on the shelf. For digest size as well - witness Blades in the Dark and Forbidden Lands.
Nothing says 1977 is here to stay like hardcover. Can you dig it? I knew you could.
