Legions First!

Australians are a proud people — if you ask them, Australia's on the cutting edge, and bollocks to bureaucratic China or flighty Brazil! No longer some half-forgotten land down under, the Australian region of the 22nd century is a center of interstellar entertainment that provides a breath of fresh air to the often hidebound older nations of Earth. And the gem that shines brightest in its crown is none other than the rough-and-tumble Legions — Australia's spirit personified!

Australia Forever!

In Aurora Australis, discover the inner workings of the eclectic psionic Legions. Learn to stir molecules to fiery excitement, flash-freeze a target or even fly through the air with but a thought. See how the Legions' infectious energy perfectly matches Australia's cocky pride to create a society unlike any other in the Trinity Universe.

Aurora Australis includes:

  • Detailed tips on playing a psychokinetic, including new psi powers
  • Revealing information on the Legion's role in the 22nd century
  • Expanded source material on the Austronesia region

Hidden Lore

Release: Originally released in February 2000, Aurora Australis was the first Trinity book to be published under the ArtHaus imprint, but the line's final printed product. Like the Trinity Players Guide, it did away with a separate color in-setting section in lieu of scattering setting pieces throughout the rest of the book via sidebars. This was a common tactic employed by ArtHaus as a cost-cutting measure as an attempt to continue production of less-popular game lines.

Cover: The cover art is by comic artist Christopher Moeller, depicting a numbre of Legionnaires of different Legions standing above Aberrant corpses on a ruined battlefield. One appears to be hovering using telekinesis, while a second has a flaming pyrokinetic fist. The Legionnaire in the foreground has what seems to be a biotech weapon attached to his forearm.

New Edition

Onyx Path's latest edition of Trinity, Trinity Continuum: Æon, goes into detail on Austronesia in Terra Firma, and the Legions in Prometheus Unbound.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
