Powerful blizzards are overwhelming logging and mining camps, with attacks by strange, six-limbed snow-beasts threatening life on the frontier. Tales of a beautiful woman luring men to their deaths in the storms are proving themselves to be true, as more and more frontiersmen are having strange dreams. Now Irondelve has gone silent, and those the Merchants’ Consortium sent to investigate the town did not return. It is up to you to investigate Irondelve, find the lost miners, and discover the source of these strange storms. Will you uncover the mystery, or fall to the Wrath of the Frost Queen?

13,30 euros for a 50 page scenario module in pdf...considering the usual standards for DCC the price is really expensive!

I should add that, despite the price (which isn't 13,30 euros now), I do want to reassure you that it's a very high quality product, and I crammed as much content into those pages as I could; and then fixed the layout so it was readable, looked great, and the illustrations worked. I have several NPC interactions with talking points and dialog mapped (ie: the players ask this, the NPC responds with this), and I wanted to make a very old school-feeling module. It has a direction, but how the players get there and interact with the locations varies. There is a dungeon, but there's also a haunting exploration, and that hidden puzzle (all I can say without spoiling it). I tried to do as much to make the GM's job easier, so you can focus on running a fun game. And, as always, I'm available for questions and answers (customer service, basically), if you'd like advice, or have suggestions for improvements. Especially, of course, if you spot something after buying the module ;) It's the best-quality product I could...See more

Elias -- You should join the G+ DCC RPG group and tell us about your creation. No one knows anything about it.

I'll second that. 10 bucks is not too much for a really good adventure... but it's a bit more than I'll spend without a bit more information.

Will do, right away! I'll have to sign up for G+, figure out how it works, but I'd be happy to do a Q&A. If anyone's in Toronto, I'd love to run a game for your group, too. :D

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
