Undead Conspiracies contains nine playbooks of player classes for Dungeon World that has gorgeous cover art done by Nick Ladd. This pack features undead adventurers who band together to defeat those who would undo their schemes. With eight classes in the bundle you have enough choices to make an entire undead party.

The Deathbringer: You are a powerful undead eternally sworn to Death himself. Encased in armor and armed with an weapon Death himself has granted you, you adventure out into the world to send him more soul.

The Entombed Sorcerer: You are an ancient sorcerer mummified and put to rest in your tomb. Your final resting place has been disturbed and now you are free to walk the world again.

The Lich: The diabolical undead magician masters dark sorceries and harvests bodies of the living. All the corpses you come across is your campaign is merely a source to fuel your future undead army with.

The Phantom Warrior: You are the lingering apparition of a warrior slain in the battlefield. Doomed to wander the earth without rest you return to the only trade you knew in life.

The Returned: Bummed your favorite character died and that they will be gone forever? Not anymore! The Returned has two playable options for you to choose from. The first lets you play an undead version of your character who just died while the second is an adventurer who died a while ago and has been undead ever since.

The Seducer: You were untimely taken from the world of the living and raised from the dead. Since being an undead, your ‘life’ has vastly improved. Now you seek to show others the joy they can find in death, sincerely believing that undeath is the best way to escape all the problems in your life that you don’t want to deal with.

The Sticher: You are the deranged undead surgeon who uses his medical knowledge to stich your careless party members back together after they get wrecked in the dungeon. You can also provide surgical grafts to your thankless party members and yourself. Results may vary.

The Unliving Aristocrat: You were in death as you were in life: As pompous as you are filthy rich. Money can buy everything, even an eternal existence in the form of an undead noble. Use your money and pretentious rapier skills to upstage your party members with.

The Vampiric Magus: You are the more dangerous breed of vampire who has spent their unliving existence mastering magic. The blood you steal from your victims has provided a wonderful fuel for your mastery of blood magic.

The Lich playbook is missing the base damage of the undead created through the Create Undead move. They list bonuses to damage, but not the base damage. Is it just 1d4 (the base damage of the Lich itself?)

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
