Is the copy here the corrected version, with the right stat blocks?
Since I can't find an errata for it, I may just have to buy the pdf version.

Is there an errata available for the 2013 edition?
I bought it in print at Geek'd Con back in 2013 or 2014 and just discovered that the stat blocks for the Martial Artist and the Officer are copies of the stat block for the Investigator.
I've tried doing a search online but haven't found an errata for it.

Let me see. I should have an errata around here somewhere.

Thanks, Jonathan.
I went ahead and bought the pdf and I'm slowly going through and correcting the paperback with a pen. If you do have the errata, that would probably save me some time.

I've completed the first two chapters and I found an error in the pdf.

On page 53, under 1878, it says, "(Spring) Noted villain Nemo disappears after his ship, the Nautilus, is attacked by the combined navies seeking revenge for the destruction of so many British and American ships. His whereabouts are unknown to this date."

This is the same text that appears on page 52, under 1870.

Looking at the older print copy I have, the entry under 1878 should probably read "Shipping raids and mysteriously sunken ships that have plagued the Atlantic and Indian oceans for years suddenly cease. No reason is discovered for why they stopped, let alone why they started."

This entry doesn't appear in the pdf version, instead being replaced by the duplicate entry.

We should be releasing a new edition coming 2021. If you can get me your contact information, I will send you the errata you need.

Could you tell if will be a Patfinder 2, D&D 5 ed or Savage Worlds? Thanks.

It will be great if this second edition was on print on demand.

There already exists a 5e and Savage Worlds variant. I am not certain why the pod is not available, let me take a look as see what can be done to fix that.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
