Mekton Zeta Plus

Mekton Zeta Plus An amazing expansion to a solid game. Because I somehow didn't notice this previously, I was trying to make the Techbook for Mekton 2 work with Zeta. Aside from the difficulty of that, this book is simply so much better. The sheer variety of options lets you build nearly any mecha you can think of. And if that isn't enough, there are several pages of optional rules, just in case you want to do something really out there. If you can imagine it, then there is probably some way to make it in Mekton Zeta Plus. If you like Mekton Zeta, but think that the options for building your mecha are too limited, this is the book for you....

Into the Darkness: Map 1 Great small cave for a quick side quest. Good art work, has a secret passage, good little hide out for monster or a small group of bad guys, not big enough for anything substantial to go on there.

Silent Death: The Next Millennium I find that this huge manual has an enormous amount of background fluff. The rules are straightforward, but i think there should be a simpler 'quick starter' section.

12 Perils for the Living Land
por Brian R.

12 Perils for the Living Land "12 Perils for the Living Land" offers a mixture of encounters to spice up jungle journeys. Though specifically framed as results of playing the *Perils of the Living Land* card, these could also be used anytime a GM needs to spice up a scene or add some conflict to a journey. The perils are not *monsters* in the strict sense, but more circumstantial hazards both living and environmental. They range from leeches to torrential rainstorms to pitcher plants, and all provide all details necessary to running that encounter, including difficulty numbers. An excellent product that should be immediately useful to GMs!...

Future Firearms: Starfinder

Future Firearms: Starfinder Quite good set of weapons, especially sniper weaponry, which is huge lackluster in Starfinder system. Overall everything is balanced good and fits in current weaponry. Big pool of special properties makes weapons stand out. Renders are nice, helps with imagination. Though, I would prefer, personally, drawing side-style like in Starfinder for consistency with system. Flavor text is great, adds some lore seeds. As personal lore of Starfinder, I made those weapons like specific series, produced by Arabani Arms Ltd, an Apostae-based drow weapons trafficking enterprise....

World War Cthulhu: Europe Ablaze
por Megan R. [Featured Reviewer]
Publisher: Cubicle 7 Entertainment Ltd.

World War Cthulhu: Europe Ablaze Set in the darkest days of World War 2, when it seemed that Britain stood alone against the Nazi hordes, this book provides six fully-developed adventures, missions the party might be sent to complete, all somewhere in mainland Europe. Each combines real war action with additional menace posed by the Mythos and human agents thereof, and all pose real threats to the physical and mental well-being of the party. A couple of them are even based on real events, others are more Mythos based but the war still poses a very tangible threat. The adventures will take the party to northern France, Italy, Norway, Belgium, Greece and Spain (the last being ostensibly neutral, but it's still a dangerous place for British service personnel!). Refer to World War Cthulhu: The Darkest Hour for more extensive details of 'Section N' for which the party is assumed to work. First up is Sleeper Agents, set in mid-1941 in France. Something untoward is stirring, disturbed by the bombing of trains heading towa...

AL 8: Fire in the Mountain (DCC)

AL 8: Fire in the Mountain (DCC) An Endzeitgeist.com review This adventure for DCC clocks in at 37 pages, 1 page front cover, ½ a page editorial/patreon-thanks, 2 pages of SRD, leaving us with 33.5 pages of content, so let’s take a look! Okay, so first thing you should know: The pdf actually includes a new race, somewhat goat-like humanoids of fey origin that gain 1d8 hit points per level. They may use blackjack, blowgun, club, sling, spear and shortbow and staff sans penalty, but other weapons suffer from a -2 to attack rolls in addition to the -1d penalty. Attacks with hooves, claws etc. are not penalized. Urisk also balk at armor: Anything beyond a wooden shield nets a +1d increase in Fumble Dice and +2 to armor check penalty. Their horns inflict 1d6, their fists 1d5 and their hooves 1d4. Urisks may use an Action Die to make multiple attacks: Both horns, both fists or both hooves or any combination thereof, but the attacks are penalized at -1d. The urisk also may make three attacks, one of each type, but th...

Legendary Beginnings: A Feast of Flavor

Legendary Beginnings: A Feast of Flavor An Endzeitgeist.com review This module clocks in at 72 pages, 1 page front cover, 1 page ToC, 1 page editorial, 1 page introduction,2.5 pages of SRD, 2 pages of character-sheet, 3 pages of advertisement, 1 page of back cover, leaving us with 59.5 pages of content, so let’s take a look! Now, first things first: The Legendary Beginnings-series focuses on adventures that are more family-friendly and suitable to both kids and adults that don’t want grim stuff/gore/dark material – the series focuses on exciting adventuring, but without the grimmer aspects. This adventure should run smoothly for kids ages 8+, though, depending on how sensitive the kids in question are, it may work for younger kids or, in the case of very sensitive kids, be appropriate for slightly older kids. Adults can have fun with this module as well, provided they do not mind the whimsical names and constant, food-based nomenclature of the environments in the region. There is dangerous wildlife to be found within...

Dungeon of the Unknown

Dungeon of the Unknown An Endzeitgeist.com review This „adventure“ clocks in at 38 pages, 1 page front cover, 2 pages of editorial/ToC, 1 page back cover, leaving us with 34 pages of content, though these include the same map of the dungeon twice; once with a turquoise background and once with a white background (printer-friendlier) – as a whole, we get 32 pages of content that have been laid out for 6’’ by 9’’ (A5) – you can easily fit four pages on a given sheet of paper. This review was made possible by one of my patreon, who gifted me this module and requested that I review it. Okay, so first things first: This module depicts a dungeon on the Isle of The unknown, perhaps the environment I have been most ambivalent about in all my reviewer’s career. I assume in this review that you are familiar with my coverage of the Isle-sourcebook and its particular brand of weirdness. This book, in many ways, represents a continuation of the Isle’s approach to design, for weal and woe: Discrepancies ...
