If you want to score your role-playing scene with some background music that will give your players the sense that something has gone dreadfully wrong—but not a sense of immediate danger—this track fits the bill. I actually don’t care much for the “reedy” sound in parts of the piece, but everything else is musically top-notch. As the publisher indicates, this track is suitable for a wide variety of genres; nothing in the audio ties it to any particular time or setting. The ID3 tags could use some attention; an album title would help (even if the album title were just “Music from Fishwife Games” or something of that sort), there’s no need for the artist’s name to appear in the track name, and some “cover” artwork would enhance the experience (and make the track easier to find in a large iTunes library).
