Do you have vending machines in your medieval/fantasy world? No? Ah, then you quite probably have merchants! And that does not mean supermarkets (probably). In this sixth volume of the eleven volume series "City Builder" this "Mercantile Places" are detailed, including sections devoted to Banks, Brokerages, General Stores, Marketplaces, Pawnshops, Trading Posts, and Warehouses. Each place is described in detail (meaning in real detail, e.g. with historical background) and for each place an adventure hook (up to three) is presented. Volume 6 of the series again presents a great source of inspiration for the GM. Like all parts of the series it is fully illustrated and comes in high and low resolution versions for screen and print. For $1.99 you get 22 pages of valuable supplements - well, subtracting the good illustrations and so on, eleven pages remain. Should you buy it? Well, yes and no: yes, because it is money well spend, no, because you better get the whole City Builder compilation. That is cheaper than buying all single volumes, and you will end up wanting all volumes anyway.
