This is one of the most gorgeous books in the realm of horror roleplaying I have ever seen. It is a 130 pages strong, full color, lavishly illustrated, well laid out.
The different chapters are:
Restless Spirits - dealing, unsurprisingly, with the uncorporeal critters like Angiak, Banshee, Ghost Vehicles, Poltergeist, Tulpa and others.
Angels & Demons gives general advice for the Heaven and Hell Campaign and details characters like Azazel, Lillith, Ruby and others, explaining Acheri Demons, Crossroads Demons, Hellhounds, as well as Castiel and other representatives of heaven.
Gods & Monsters starts with new creature traits and then delves into critters like, e.g., changelings, chupacabra, djinns, ghouls, rakshasa, sasquatch, as well as Old, Lesser, Greater and Elder Gods, finally giving advice for the Cryptid Campaign in general.
Curses & Magic gives you a thorough introduction into cursed objects, wishes, death visions, demon viruses, dream roots, ghost sickness and other arcane phenomena. The chapter treats issues like dream shaping, lists magic rituals, presents grimoires, tomes and pdfs and explains the role of alchemy and mad science in the game, before concluding with general advice for the Relic Hunter Campaign.
Finally, the appendices of the book give a thorough treatment of creating your own critters and of using monsters as hunter characters, detailing the rules for playing Angels, Demons, Ghosts, Vampires and Werewolves and proposing why such characters should hunt their own ilk. This es really an excellent piece of work!
