I originally purchased this to see if I recognized any of the LJ icons that are on the cover, but of course I read it.

LIKED: I like the political stance the game takes, and the general concept is an appealing one. While I'm not a big fan of mundane people games, this one could change that.

DISLIKED: I'm not too fond of games without character advancement rules, because I really do like running extended campaigns over one shots, and when that isn't there, regardless of the reasons, arguments between player and GM occurs. Also, there's some bagging on other game companies in the introduction, which is always a bad thing - I bought the product, I don't need to be convinced to dislike other games.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
Not so much 'bagging' as explaining where the system came from. The game '45, which uses the same system, has a character development plugin for the Xpress rules that may be adaptable to your @ctiv8 games.
