I thought the product and documents were good. Some were slightly out of date due to recent changes in your business model. Otherwise very helpful. I am new to this type of business and look forward to learning from an established company. This is, of course, a necessary purchase for anyone wishing to trade on RPGNow or DTRPG and if you aren't planning on doing that there's probably little point in buying it. That said, the three guidbooks do give useful advice on desktop publishing, copyright as concerns various OGLs (not just the d20 OGL), state of the industry and all that jazz so even if you aren't planning on selling through these outlets but are thinking of a bit of amateur publishing it might be worth the money.

LIKED: Some very good advice. In between me buying this product and getting around to creating the products, the OneBookShelf merger happened whcih saved me worrying about which vendor to use!

DISLIKED: Some of the advice and data are now a few years out of date, and there is some repetition between the three component guidebooks.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
Recommendations on new markets and new ways to market were supposed to be made available for this product, and have not been. I haven't had a single email in the full month since I placed my first product with OneBookShelf, Inc. Likewise, the one email I have sent thus far to attempt to receive help about reviewers has gone unanswered, and my attempts to get into the Publisher Forums have given me nothing but restrictions so I am unable to get in.

LIKED: I like that it was bundled with a great deal of starter help, including three PDF files filled with all manner of useful information.

DISLIKED: It seems my one-time-fee lifetime-subscription was good for the very beginning of my association, but since has fallen on deaf ears, and is in placement of products only.

QUALITY: Disappointing

VALUE: Disappointed
Good information, well presented. Great to have the information in one place. Reasonable price concidering some of the other sites want in excess of a hundred bucks as part of their set-up fee and don't include this kind of advice!

LIKED: Lots of concise info geared specifically to RPG/PDF publishing.

DISLIKED: Wish the "stats" were a bit more specific about some things. Pretty straight forward. $40 cuts out a lot of the more casual set so it helps overall quality slightly. No individual piece of the package is worth much cost-wise, but collectively having all this information collected in one place is well worth the price of admission.

LIKED: Included all relevant information in one place in easy to digest chunks and with clear instructions and examples.

DISLIKED: I have to learn at least some basic html to fully utilize; oh well, tis overdue anyway...

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
EXCELLENT source of information and enlightenment for those who are peeking over the edge of the steep cliff known as e-Publishing. Armed with the clear, practical information from this product, we who would dare to fly spread our wings. We still see the jagged ground far below us, but we have now learned how to begin to glide after reading these guides, and can set our eyes on soaring.

LIKED: Clear information, well laid out as an introduction as well as a stepping stone to greater dreams

DISLIKED: I was worried at first that I would have to purchase it twice, since I purchased it before even beginning to set up a vendor account with RPGNow.com, and it was described as a fee within the product itself, even though I had not yet begun an application. It turns out I didn't have to pay twice, for which I am thankful, although after reading the guides I have to admit that I would have been willing to, the information therein is worth it!

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
This product is certainly a must have for would be publishers. Contains a truly staggering amount of information, advice and statistics. Is also a REQURIED purchase for vendors.

LIKED: Just about any question you might have is answered somewhere in the files this download conatins. Has a simple translation for the legal jargon on the OGL and D20 licences.

DISLIKED: There is so much information in the various files that it can be difficult to find a specific part.

QUALITY: Acceptable

VALUE: Very Satisfied
so, i'm all, like, vendory and stuff now. the power, THE POWER!

the new vendor instructions and help guide are good, though they could use some updating -- the website and vendor tools have changed somewhat since it was last written. still, i didn't have any problems uploading my first products.

the ePublisher guides are appreciated, and would be of good value to anyone starting out as a PDF publisher particularly.

LIKED: that its an entirely reasonable setup fee.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Satisfied
Whether you've already completed your PDF publication or are just now beginning the process, you'll find plenty of tools in here to help you out. RPG Now has conducted some of the most comprehensive market research I've ever seen in tabletop RPGs, and they've put a good chunk of that in here as well. Highly recommended.

LIKED: The three products in this package take a holistic and unilateral look at the basics of PDF game publishing, and they do it in plain english.

DISLIKED: In reading this book cover to cover, you're doubtless going to find at least one piece of information you don't want to hear. I don't hold that against the publisher, but it's sure to be the thing you don't like about it. Aside from that, though, it's thoughtfully laid out and surprizingly comprehensive.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Satisfied
I think the entry price is a little steep, but the package and instructions you get are very clear and readable.

LIKED: The documentation on using RPGnow.com to sell one's products is, as I said, clear, readable, and useful. A++

DISLIKED: The price. Seems kinda stiff just to list a PDF. I understand you want to make sure people are "serious", but I think $20 would keep the punters out just as well.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Satisfied
Simple, easy, complete. RPGNow is a wonderful service and their dedication to making a better marketplace with better publishers is apparent in every page of bundled PDF and the services they offer.

Although I would like the process to be easier and cheaper, I'm more than willing to work a little and pay a little to make sure that only serious publishers apply.

LIKED: The added value of the products bundlded with the fee. Excellent response time.

DISLIKED: The process was a little hard to find and a little light on feedback as I went through it.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
