I was excited to see Dice & Glory among the offerings for the Thanksgivaway. The system is basically a multi-genre marriage of OGL to Palladium that many of you 80s vintage gamers out there might appreciate. If you don't mind a little crunch with your game, this pdf is a good bet for the price in terms of the system's versatility and completeness, even at the regular non-give away price. There is a slight emphasis placed on fantasy, but what the book doesn't include, it gives solid guidelines on how to create, which is a feat [cliche here, I know] for a stat-heavy system. But be forewarned. Don't buy this book if you're looking for fancy artwork or if you don't have time to flesh out your own setting.
