A pretty good selection of monsters, many of which are updated versions of entries in the 2E Ravenloft Monstrous Compendiums. There's a good range of CR and some interesting abilities mixed in. As a old DM tempted back into D&D by Curse of Strahd, this has been a pretty useful purchase - I've already thrown a couple of the monsters at my players and it'll make coverting many of my old TSR era Ravenloft modules to 5E a breeze.

This is a pretty good mix of tools, one shots, puzzles and traps. Useful stuff and will definitely help to fill in gaps when I run out of prep time!

Kevin Crawford hits it for 6 again. A really interesting take on demigod/immortal game play - the Words system is really flexible and should let your players build any demigod they can conceive. This is Mutants and Masterminds for immortals.

As ever with Kevin Crawford's systems though, the really joy is in the GMs tools, many of which could be easily applied to any system. I love a good random table and if you flick through this book armed with a d6 and a 12 and campaign ideas will launch themselves into your mind.

This is nicely done and I really like the ladder and general archetype system - it provides a nice framework, and is an enjoyable read, with the supplied scenarios being an added bonus. I fully intend to run an Ultramodern 5/Stars Without Number campaign - the two should mesh together pretty nicely.

Excellent - loads of well thought out monsters, fills in a lot of the gaps in the Monster Manual, both in terms of CR and concepts.

Another excellent book from Kevin Crawford.

I've been looking for a good post apocalyptic system for a while and this one pretty much ticks all the boxes for me. It is a lot less gonzo that Gamma World or Mutant Future, but because the core system is pretty much OD&D, you can very easily bring stuff across from systems like that. The negative mutations can perhaps be a little excessive (it is possible to create a character with no head), but that sort of thing is so easily house ruled away it really isn't an issue.

As with Stars Without Number, the GM's section on sandbox world creation are fabulous - and as with SwoN system agnostic.

Strongly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic - a really nice system if you like OD&D and the GM's sections on system creation are excellent (and pretty much system agnostic).

Also, the hard cover print of this is a thing of beauty. One word of warning - the print edition contains the extra chapters from the Core edition, but the pdf is just the free edition and doesn't contain the extra chapter on robots and mechs.
