This is such a fun little scenario, perfect for conventions or similar. It requires little preparation and the suggestions and advice for running it are really helpful. Highly recommended.

An excellent collection of scenarios that not only play well as investigations but also capture the tone of modern Call of Cthulhu perfectly. They have dated in some places (which is why it loses one star) but not some much that any Keeper worth his or her salt won't be able to fix them with very little effort.

If I'm honest, you could probably get as good (and maybe better) suggestions by searching a few well-known horror game forums for members' suggestions. As it is, a lot of the songs listed here seemed to have been suggested based on their title rather than the actual song. YMMV but I don't think I'll be using Megadeath or Iron Maiden tracks as a way of generating mood during my campaign.

However, this product does have two things going for it. 1) The price. It's cheap enough to just add to an existing order and not really notice it. 2) The hidden gems. In amongst all the well known stuff and tracks chosen for their title are a bunch of genuinely creepy tracks that would I'm already thinking about using.

If the writers had included an article on ways to use music to create mood or had thought about ordering the songs better (or even better, cross-referenced them somehow) then this would be a really good value purchase. Unfortunately at the moment it falls a little short.
