An evocative setting, great character ideas, and a very nice and well written version of the Fate Accelerated Rules. I love the stunts and i really like the focus on exploration and discovery. Im am looking forward to introducing my players to the Inverse World.

A good version of the Fate System. I especially appreciate the way the rules are illustrated with panels from the comic - pretty, but also really helpful.

This would be a fun game for any kind of "action science" adventure - perfect for anything along the lines of Star Trek, Fringe, or Dr Who.

I'm a big fan of Wild Talents, so you'll find only my happy bias in this review. Now the truth is that I tend to favor very rules-lite type games. I'm a Supercrew/Risus kind of gamer, mostly. But when I get an itch for a game with a little crunch, a game where the dice matter and where you can have fun really designing (or is that min-maxing?) a character, I turn to Wild Talents.

Wild Talents is a crazy, gritty supers game that kind of defines its own wonderful niche. Oh sure, you could use it play marvel/DC stuff, but honestly, Mutants & Masterminds and BASH do that pretty well already. But WT is amazing at creating "real worlds" where normal people are blessed - or cursed - with amazing powers. And the powers are the core of this game - you can design very strange and whacky powers, and I find that somehow, WT encourages me to make my characters an their abilities more interesting.

I'll give this 4/5 stars. It's not for everyone, but it's a thing of real beauty.

This super powered Victoriana is probably the best game I have bought in the last year. It's a wonderful example of what you can do with Wild Talents, and it's full of really good ideas, fascinating characters, useful plot points, and interesting new rules. I especially liked the new version of the skills rule. The game presents a wonderful setting, but I think it really shines when it gets to the various characters, heros and villains and others. Honestly, I think i got a lot better at building Wild Talents characters when I read this book. I'm not sure if I'll get a chance to use the setting, but I will certainly be using a lot of these characters and plot points in my campaigns.
