Great Maps! I bought some SSD map sets when they were sold as hardcopy. This set is their first and oldest set. So it is not as detailed as most of the newer ones. It has been out of print a long time and I don't have it, so I am happy to pick it up in eBook format. I am building my campaign world in Voldaria, and using mostly SSD maps. SSD makes like 7 or 8 major map sets that I know about. Voldaria is perhaps the most extensively mapped campaign world ever. Certainly the best I have seen mapped to this level of detail with standardized map keys. They may look simple, but a lot of work went into these sets and they are very useful once you understand the map key. Do look at the publisher's preview to see what I am talking about. Also check out SSD other map sets to see what I mean about even greater detail. If you normally use color maps with high resolution showing you floor texture and boxes/rectangles for doors then you may not like these. They tend to show a lot more detail then that, and my players find the devil (or perhaps demon or dragon) is in the details.:) I have been a DM for 18 years, I am old school and I like maps I can write on, make notes on, and/or quickly and neatly edit with a black felt tip pen. (and/or on my computer in MS Paint Brush. now with the new eBook version.) Do yourself a favor and check them out for yourself.
