7th Sea is a story of larger than life heroes that defy conventional concepts of character design.

By adding a class system and attempting game balance, the game misses the point of itself.

Stick to the original 7th Sea. It's jagged and unbalanced, yes, but it conveys the spirit of swashbuckling adventure, dashing heroes, and mustache twirling villains far better.

If you like pirates, and are a fan of the d20 roleplayig system, then this book is an excellent resource. The world of Theah is brilliantly pieced together. As for the quality of the download, the scans are fairly well done, although some of the OCR text is a little off. Unfortunately, there are a number pages missing from the document. I would recomend buying it elswhere.

This book is an excellent source for Swashbuckling adventures although if you're a fan of the original Roll & Keep system, you may be a little disappointed. Personally, I prefer the R&K over d20 because it emphasizes Role-Playing more so than Roll-Playing.

The ONE major thing I do dislike about this book is that it's scanned, and not an original Electronic version. Overall however, it's still pretty good.
