Misfit Studios has long been a favorite of mine. They do horror and modern supernatural very well and have turned their skills towards Mutants and Masterminds. Presented here are some new archetypes and some new ways to look at the rules for supernatural powered characters. Among those presented are the Avatar, the human manifestation of a magical being's power, the Hougan, a voodoo practioner and the Necromancer. If you are like me and like a little horror in your comics and a little magic in your supers games this is a great place to start.

I'm a sucker for archtypes and I just had to get this one. I liked how they took some of the spookiest ideas and incorporated then into the Mutants and Masterminds system. If you're a fan of both Superheroes and Horror, then this is the line of products to get! The archtypes are well written and help to greatly expand an already great system. Need a new character but don't want another Wallcrawler or Feral with claws? How about a Vampire Hybrid or a Necromancer? Maybe an Avatar of Chaos? Avatar of Life or Death? There's some really cool stuff in here and it's my understanding that more cool things are on the way. I'm definately hooked!<br><br> <b>LIKED</b>: This product gives you clearly written examples and then variations of each theme as well to better fit into each individual campaign and player style. Methods of improvement are also mentioned, which is cool<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: There really wasn't anything not to like.
