I love Castles & Crusades, and hoped this would have more C&C content to it. Overall, I didn't get much out of this magazine.

LIKED: The layout was excellent.

DISLIKED: Content didn't do much for me.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Disappointed
Tons of material, but none of it is very well thought out. A few ideas that were really fleshed out would have been nice. Some of the art was excellent, but much of it was poor.

QUALITY: Disappointing

VALUE: Disappointed
Great stuff. All of the classes in this series seem very playable, especially from a GM stand-point. Even if they don't all make it into my game, elements of them will.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
Corsair: The Definitive D20 Guide to Ships
Publisher: Adamant Entertainment
by John S. [Verified Purchaser]

The ship combat rules are good, though I prefer some of the narrative elements from 'Stormwrack'. The navigation rules are a bit more complicated than I liked (too many headings, for example), but they definitely work and are easy to pare down.

LIKED: Ship statistics; statting ships out like creatures instead of using the vehicle rules from WOTC.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Satisfied
