Overall a most excellant product for magic users. It is geared towards a specific mythos and how that genre treats magic users but all in all a great sourcebook for classes dedicated to arcane magic.<br><br> <b>LIKED</b>: The prestige classes were well thought out and serve to give distinction to a given magic user.<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: No reference to where the one mechanic comes from so a GM wanting to use the material for other fantasy games has little recourse in figuring out how to adapt these feats to play something other than the world in which it is supposedly situated. <br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Very Good<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Satisfied<br>

The Barbaric Sorcerer is an intresting book that adds nice depth to a low magic game. The prestige classes are excellent in providing a good feel of the target setting. The new sorcey spells are nice and the magic manuevers are interesting.<br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Acceptable<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Very Satisfied<br>
