I found this magazine to be generally ok, not great, not terrible. The articles did offer some interesting insights but it felt too scattered to be truly useful. Nothing I could really use in my games, at best it was vague inspiration, the same as I might get from a good TV show or novel. I did enjoy it though.

James Desborough's style alone makes a product worth reading, so I don't regret having bought this issue. However, be aware that it's primarily a series of essays on sex, romance, sexual deviation (for lack of a better term), and the difference between the genders--as they pertain to gaming. They're interesting topics if you like the theory behind the game, but perhaps not so useful if you're looking for crunch.

LIKED: I enjoyed Desborough's summation of the psychological difference between males and females.

DISLIKED: I would have liked more in the way of story seeds. The concepts were interesting, but I'm not sure the magazine offered anything to alter my style of play.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Satisfied
A very well written collection of articals on a subject that often gets glossed over or outright ignored. An interesting perspective on our hobby.

LIKED: Well written, to the point, punches are not being pulled.

DISLIKED: Where is issue 2?

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Satisfied
The drugs issue will come along when I have time. Between other projects I potter about putting together articles and pieces for Autopsy, so its not a regular output :)

This is a very direct e-zine. The discussions regarding roleplaying and sex are frank and potentially offensive for sensitive readers. If talks about this subject are taboo for you and/or your gaming group, then pass on this one. If you want advice on do's and don't for your gaming group, transgender roleplaying tips, or just a thought provoking read, you'll it here.

I liked it.

It was written and organized by an established author of Mongoose Publishing (they are not affiliated with it, however).

Future issues are coming on an irregular schedule with a totally new topic.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
I have very little to say about this product - good or bad. Alot of the topics included were pretty tame (not that I was expecting porn), but nothing really jumped out at me as clearly unforgetable.

QUALITY: Acceptable

VALUE: Satisfied
Well, the intention this time around (as I get contracted to write so many comedy sex books) was to treat the subject seriously in a more rounded manner. Not to titillate, though the cover does that a bit :)
