i find myself at an inpasse. If you bought Tour (or any other setting for that matter then the PG's make great distribution material if (like me )you bought the pdf then there really isn't a reason to. If you are looking to invest and are die hard about buying the print books then id suggest getting the pg's of the settings as they come out. this keeps your expenditures to a miniumn and you still get all of the new rules and system mopdifications and stuff with out dropping $30 a pop.<br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Acceptable<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Satisfied<br>

A great start for people unfamiliar with the nuances of Vietnam and an almost requirement for anyone playing this specific Savage Worlds setting. This PDF also gives a clause to the GM for distribution among those at the gaming table, which is a cool realistic approach. If you want to run a strict military setting without the cool supernatural undertones, then you only need this product and the Savage Worlds Core Book to get started. You'll doubtlessly want to add paper minis from this line and possibly the Savage Worlds Adventure Deck too.<br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Very Good<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Satisfied<br>

This is a terrific product for a player to purchase. It contains nearly everything from the main ToD book that a player might need access to. Nearly, because there are four or five pages in the back of the book that should not be concealed from the players (military organization, what units were based where, ranks, some history, etc.)

Not a very good option for GMs wishing to provide free [printed] player's guides and references to his game group. While this provides a lot of useful information, only about five pages (of 37) make useful in-play references for players, about 15 pages of character creation and the rest setting information.<br><br><b>LIKED</b>: Makes it easy for players to look something up without risk of them scanning into GM-only land.<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: Left out some useful pages from the back of the main book. Can't disable the background image when printing (eats lots of ink).<br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Very Good<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Satisfied<br>

This book is basically the first chapter of the setting, exactly the same as the full book, just omitting the GM Material. <br><br><b>LIKED</b>: The production values in the book are good. Comparable with anything else in this product line. I like books like this because it's a makes character creation faster. I know it's fast in Savage Worlds but this makes it a lot faster. Faster character creation means more time playing and less making characters. It's also a lot easier to get the players to "bite" on a setting if they only have to spend 5.95 as opposed to buying a whole book, most of which they'll never use. All in all the Players guides are an excellent way to introduce the setting and an excellent value for players who don't intend to run that particular Savage Setting. <br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: Nothing that applies to the .pdf version. <br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Very Good<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Very Satisfied<br>
