I love Western's, horror, and d20, so Deadlands d20 was a natural fit! While some of the rules are a little iffy (especially involving magic), overall this is a great system. The new classes are well-balanced enough to be usable with other OGL material. And, of course it's Deadlands...

Good D20 crossover rules. I am not a big fan of the Deadlands setting, but even as a more generic set of FRP rules incorporating the Old West, or in a more generic "steam and sorcery" campaign, these rules work well. Highly recommended.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
Great! The only setting in THREE systems, two of them pretty major! That alone should get you curious about this phenomenon...

Interesting Champaign setting with great ideas based upon the perversion of history. Deacent new classes. The only real problem that I had with this product is that it is not presented in a stand alone format like so many others out there. A small matter when you consider that if you own a D20 game you also probably own D&D or D20 Modern.

I have this book in softcover, but decided I needed it in PDF, as well. This is mainly due to gaming night passing around of the book. I can keep the PDF going on the computer, and the players can pass the book around all they like.

Deadlands is definitely a great system, and loads of fun to play, and GM. Some of the funnest GMing ever, really. The players are more likely to become immersed in the characters in a Deadlands game. We all love a good western!

The mechanics are solid, and play is smooth and fun. The Huckster backlash rules are a great addition to D20 spellcasting. And overall, the system is quite well done! A shame they discontinued the line.

A D20 Modern version would have been beautiful!

I got involved with this through the D20 system so I don't know how well it holds up to the original version, but I like this one. The only thing that could make this PDF file better would be if it were bookmarked. This sourcebook can stand alone from the D20 Modern or D&D books. One down side is the spell list provided is a little skimpy, but most of the other D20 spell will work in this campaign. Over all I enjoyed this book and think it looks like an interesting campaign.
